Prayer Priority
Read: 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Think about this for a second: On your prayer list, which has more on it- Supplication, or thanksgiving?
In this hectic country, we quickly tell God every single one of our troubles, end with a quick “Amen”, then continue with our lives. Is this how prayer was intended to be? Of course not!
Not only should we be asking God for guidance and help in our lives, we should be thanking God for everything he does, and be talking to him as a best friend rather than a wizard who solves our problems if we tell him everyone of our troubles.
Prayer was meant to be a conversation between you and your maker. Use prayer as it was intended to be used.
