Pride
Read: 2 Samuel 24:1-9
In this passage, David ordered to have a census taken throughout the land
of Israel. Doing this was showing that David was relying on his own power instead of God's.
Just like David we today, reply on our own ability instead of God's.
God is the creator of the universe and has the power to help you. Compared to him, our own abilities our nothing. Rely on him instead of yourself.
