Leave my bones
in the desert
to be bleached white
all light and high albedo.
Like a cow's skull
with a calico rose,
an elk tooth,
a magnolia.
Heaven is vast,
cold, empty, untouchable.
It knows no kindness.
We need worlds, and worlds.
This one always fails.
