Enga mellom fjella: where from across the meadow, poems sing from mountains and molehills. |
Tulips tulips and the gold of daffodils tickle my nose fill my eyes two lips your lips would quiet my sighs © 2008 Kåre Enga [165.38b] 2008-04-20 I've tried to put my new poems in a chronological file so I can keep them organized. The "book" hasn't been perfected yet, but this is where you'll find it: "Poetic journal Year 165 B.E." [18+] ME: Had my coffee, thank-you. Need another. Oughtta eat or my stomach will go on strike. It is a peaceful Kansas day. In between storms we do have calm and glorious glorious sunshine. WATT'S GNUS: Happiness: A recent study showed that Conservatives are happier than Liberals. Other than using the labels Conservative/Liberal, I concur. I don't need a study to tell me that people who like it the way it is are going to be happier than those who want change, or that folks (especially the oppressed) can get comfortable in a rôle that defines and confines them even if it is one of submissive subsistence. One can usually eek out a living and survive. I'd like to do more with my life than survive. So, if I come off as an unhappy victim at times ... maybe it is because I have been victimized! However, to move forward, I must leave the chains of victimization and old habits behind. Easier said than done ... I have survived ... kinda. WRITING: Working on "Små dikt", 17 pages in a red memopad from May 13th, 2005. They are 90+ short quips I wrote over a 4 hour period while reading in the Oread bookstore. Hope to get them semi-polished by tomorrow, their 3rd anniversary. BLOGVILLE: Fallser is 1 year old! (and one day ). Encourage her to stick around ... please? I need to get on the road. I could write poetry about places like this I saw last November: Kansas: 67º and sunny. ** Image ID #1329288 Unavailable ** 4681 |
