Above clouds

White capped hulk above a whitewashed city. White frothed rivers falling chilly from snow encrusted flanks. Far above the desert Misti looks down upon banked skirts of clouds to where I stand in awe, far beneath his magmatic notice but not beyond his voice. For I too remember crisp blue skies and crystal days; the river of life coursing through the rocky sand, mist cloaking his snow-capped mystery.

ME:

I survived the move. Rested yesterday and did some cleaning today. In going through stuff I figured out that the previous tenants are known to me and were the ones who beat up a young friend of mine a year ago. They are dangerous (violent and not stable) but not likely to come back or cause me any harm. So no problem there.

I'm saving things that are useful (cups, hangers, etc.). Clothes can be donated. Personal items tossed ... unless they are silk ... in which case I have a friend who collects silk for her projects. I'm fond of silk myself, and suede (soft leathers) and wool. If I can use anything, I will. Second hand and hand-me-downs do not offend me.

Now ... the cockroaches do need to be exterminated and I have ants in my room. No signs of wasps or anything else; although, my window does not have a screen. So ... have to keep an eye out for nasties. This move is stop-gap temporary, so, perfect it does not have to be!
