FLDS Confusion
Hello again, everyone!

Today I am talking about a serious issue. News stations everywhere are constipated with the FLDS raid and court trials. I really feel for them. It's not right that someone should have their children taken away because of a phone call. But I am not here to address that.

There have been many confused people out there who think that Mormons belong to the FLDS sect. They blaspheme us because of Warren Jeffs, 'our prophet', and they say cruel things everyday about us. We are NOT the FLDS church. The FLDS church was formed by a sect that left our church. They were excommunicated from our church because they started to live in ways that our church was not at all encouraging. Warren Jeffs is absolutely NOT our prophet. We neither support him nor do we associate with him. Our prophet is Thomas S. Monson, a very religious, humorous, and kind man that I've almost adopted as a grandpa, even though I only get to see him on LDS General Conference Broadcasts on TV.

Everyday we get mocked for being "FLDS" when we are not. They do not worship the way we do, they do not live the way we do, and they do not act the way we do. We are completely different religious sects. Please do not get confused by what people say about us. We are different. We are not them.

Email me if you have questions.
