Merit Badge!!

In another turn of incredible fortune this week, I got my first ever Merit Badge! Bigtime thanks to Violet The Nun-MY POEMS R GONE , who recognizes that even if I know how to play all of no instruments, I'm still deserving of the Music Merit Badge. What a cool honor!

What isn't cool, however, is the damn foot of snow they keep talking about, that we're supposed to get between now and tomorrow morning (although it looks like it's stopped snowing, for now). Otherwise, everything else is in a pretty fair state of balance today. Everyone sounds like they're falling apart in one way or another; for the first time in quite a long time I feel pretty solid. I guess if I don't have my own troubles I can't keep myself from being concerned about someone else's, which in turn tends to lead me back to my own neglect of self. A vicious circle and I'm sure in no way can be healthy. I don't mind though. I brought extra hugs today to keep everyone warm.
