Day 1 Task 1 : An Introduction Using My Handle!

My current handle is Emerin, which is a simple derivation from two names - my first, which is Emely, and my middle, which is Erin. I got this nickname from one of my younger sisters who would call me Em-Erin. She died in a car-related accident when she was eight. Although my user name is "liseli", I officially changed my handle to "Emerin" to commiserate her death. I see myself as someone struggling with the ghosts of the past as well as with the hopes of my future. On WDC, I am allowed to be anyone who I want to be, although ironically enough I find myself being truer to myself on this site than in the real world. In the real world, I introduce myself as Emely Erin Lee, student and piano teacher. On WDC, first and foremost I am a writer.
