The surgeon removed the bio dermus and was amazed at how well Robert's foot is doing. Spouts of new skin were beginning to peek out as well as signs of blood supply. It may take longer to completely heal without a skin graft, but the doctor doesn't want to do any more surgery on Robert if at all possible.

The next appointment with the surgeon is Thursday, but the home health nurse, who has been dressing the burns the past week two days a week, says she can't believe how well the foot is doing. The burns on the knee are almost completely healed.
