Euphoria
Feels like I'm flying
Though my feet don't leave the ground
I've never felt lighter
Than I do right now
I heard a bit of bad news
There were storms everywhere
But none of it could reach me
As I danced from here to there
I know I can do anything
If I but deign to try
My mind is moving hyper-fast
They say slow down - but why?
Sleep is just an option
I flutter through the day
My focus may be fractured
But I'll stay on my way
My movements choppy
My thoughts disconnected
My voice rambling
My life frazzled
I feel I'm on top of everything
Nothing escapes my view
They think they find my mistakes
But I catch it all, I do!
