Sergeant Santini presses the top button of his wrist watch as he finishes his final lap in the basement gym of Brooklyn’s first YMCA now owned by NYPD.  Breathing heavy and ignoring sweat beads dropping onto his soaked PBA shirt, he reaches past the towel and water bottle shaking one leg at a time as he grabs a copy of The Post from the African-American boy running to hand it to him.  He then enters into his blackberry an e-mail address and then an encryption code describing his position on the Iron Ghost investigation team.
