Where am I going?

Yesterday I was literally lost. Today it's figuratively.
Well, not lost, just not knowing where I'm going. This applies to the story I'm working on in NoWriMo. I finally had an idea where I was headed, and now I've turned a corner and gone off some other direction. Since I still think I want to end up at the same place, I'll probably have to do a lot of editing later. That must be the way this goes. Anyway, it's fun.

I started out the day thinking:
I’m cruising around like a shark in water hunting for a dangling limb, or a quiet time and place to write.

Then it turned out I've had several chances: whoopee!
