The Question

But don’t feel too sorry for Lila.  She did, after all, get everything else she wanted.  And what was a little sunshine compared to that?!?  For sometimes, people shouldn’t get something.  Sometimes, people should have to live without.  And sometimes, people should be glad for what they have.  And so, maybe it was a good thing that Lila got no sunshine.  For everyone must be denied something once in a lifetime.  But the question is what, and when……
