Snow in the Valley

I just had to make another entry this morning. It is approximately 6:54:45 AM Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 and we had snow in parts of the Las Vegas valley. Not every place in the valley, of course, but in certain sections; on the news this morning there were pictures of kids throwing snow balls and people making snow bunnies (not enough snow to make real snow people).

Where I live there was just rain, no snow, but that’s alright. I really prefer to walk out my door and look up at Mount Charleston and see the snow there. The management at the ski lodge is happy, now they can open all the ski slops before the end of December.
