Another Time
When sorrow's brought into your life
When it fills your heart with tears
Don't hold back, let the tears flow
Someone will comfort your fears.
You never truly know what you have
Until the day you look and it's gone
But you have to collect the pieces of your heart
And always try to carry on.
It may hurt right now
But if you have faith, your heart will mend
Right now it's hurt and broken
But his life really didn't end.
As long as he's in our hearts
Right where he belongs
Nothing else matters
Our lives must go on.
In our hearts, it wasn't his time
But the Lord above knows
He's in the Lord's home now
He had no choice but to go.
Just keep the memories in your heart
Always carry them with you
We have to be strong now
Even if we're blue.
Life has many sorrows
So just live day to day
Remember the good times you shared
And he'll never be far away.
There's things we left unsaid
But our love was true
We never said how we felt
But in his heart, he knew.
We'll meet him again
One day you'll see
That he's waiting
For you and for me.
We'll sit here and wish
Say prayers at night
You'll see him one evening
His star will be your light.
He'll tell us not to worry
That everything's okay
That he loves us as much now
As he did yesterday.
We have to remember days gone by
We have to try to be strong
You know he would've wanted us to
Even though he's gone.
Keep him close in your soul
Keep him in your mind
We'll be together again
Another place, another time.
