WEDDED TO POETRY: a sonnet It’s easy to blame God for all our ills But we forget what he has given us. Our needs he as per his planning fulfils, But we in our ignorance make a fuss. He only knows what is his grand design Which he has planned for the rest of our life. Why wish that all the days we get sunshine, Why should a rainy day cause mental strife. When he takes something he gives another He did so to me, this I can’t forget. I lost my wife causing me to shatter. But, gift of poetry I did then get. Although God has taken away my wife, To poetry I am wedded for life.
