Good advice from a homeless man . . .
Recently while in Austin, my FAVORITE sister related to me some good advice. You see Sara, who has recently been having this whole, what am I going to do in life crisis, had a recent conversation with "Smiley".

"Smiley" is a 40 something year old homeless man who begs on a street corner. He holds a fabulously clever sign that reads "49 cents short of a crispy taco", but I digress. You see Sara and Smiley have had many long conversations, during red lights, and in one of these, Smiley told Sara that in life you should always have two dreams.

"One that would make your momma proud and another that you would never tell her about."

It sounded like stupid advice to me but lately the more I think about it the better it sounds.

So starting today I am setting two goals, one that will make my momma proud and another that I would never dream of telling her about.
