Fractured Fairy Tales

"Invalid EntryOpen in new Window. I remember those the sound effect was a mirror falling down and breaking. Rocky would fly in and then away. It’s amazing what we will believe as children. We accept squirrels flying around like jet plane, as if they were real. When deep down we know it’s only a cartoon. We believe in happily ever after, at least until we grow up and realize that happily ever after is a myth, an old wives tales or too much work.

Could I survive if my fairy tale fractured? I don’t see why not, I’ve survived a lot worse. Maybe I should write about everything I’ve survived. Make a list of all the bad stuff that’s happened to me in my life. Maybe I will some day or in my next journal, but not right now. The truth is that I’d rather the things I survived come out accidentally when I’m composing journal entries, poems, or stories.
