A Storm Approaches
Well here we go...

My daughter has been hauling her stuff here to my house since yesterday. My son's, Ray and Billy are thinking about taking a road trip to Kansas to see their brother Jon-Ray (MY SOLDIER BOY)...

And this is just the first storm of the current Hurricane season... damn.

I propose that we switch summers off with hurricane season... we could be the Storm Birds... like the Snow Birds that flock to Florida during the winter months.

My biggest worry is the fact that I have a $4000.00 deductable on my homeowners insurance policy... Now I pray... DEAR GOD... please if the storm is going to damage my house... please please take the whole bloody thing... my luck... I'll have just $3,999.99 dollars worth of damage... DAMN...

I'm thinking it may be cheaper to go rent a generator today... tomorrow at the latest... if not ... there is a good chance there won't be a generator left to rent or to buy... I've got a gas stove... so cooking won't be a problem. But life without air-conditioning... no ice... damn... hot soda sucks... so does hot insulin.

My husband's concerns, on the other hand, are much more immediate - He wants breakfast, and he want's breakfast now. *Rolleyes*

Guess I better go feed the man.
