Thoughts of an Empty Brain
Searching for a subject I sit and simmer, staring stunned at the simple screen.

Crap. I had hoped to take that alliteration to new heights, and it ends there.

And still a subject eludes me. I hate when that happens.

I could write what’s on my mind, but there ain’t much goin’ on up there. Yep, it’s a black, silent void. Not even crickets are interested.

I think it’s a good thing. Sometimes the brain needs to be empty, because there are no stresses, no worries. It feels much like Lauren Gale Author Icon said in her entry "Invalid EntryOpen in new Window. about the necessity of quiet, peaceful times.

I’m writing though! Woohoo! I’ve been using my new toy to finish the science fiction story I’ve been working on for I don’t know how many months. I’m pleased it’s become interesting again, so I’m hoping to finish it by the end of the week. After that, who knows, and I don’t really care as long as making my goals.

Be sure to go to shleprock’s new forum, "Invalid ItemOpen in new Window. created special for lethomson and wish her a happy 14th birthday today!
