Nicaragua *Exclaim**Question**Exclaim*

I'm thinking what it might be like to live as an expatriate*Exclaim*

I hate to fly... this is true, but I'm thinking 'one last final flight'... and if Nicaragua is the paradise that I've read that it is... then everyone can just come visit me and my husband... and I'll never have to fly ever again. Sounds fair enough to me...

So I've decided to devote much of my time today day-dreaming about becoming an expatriate.

Either definition of the word Expatriate will serve my purpose:

Expatriate

1. Somebody who has moved abroad
2. Somebody who has renounced his or her citizenship or whose citizenship has been revoked…

Why am I thinking of becoming an Expatriate?

Well, there is nobody running for President of the United States of America in 2008 that I deem worthy enough, trustworthy enough, or remotely competent of restoring America to its once former greatness.

Love it or leave it... My bags are packed; I'm ready to go...

Colin Powell won’t run…

It’s not likely Oprah will run…

And truthfully I don’t believe there is anyone who is capable of fixin’ the mess this country is in. Once Bush’s ass leaves office I suspect things are going to get much worse.

I can keep my membership on Writing.Com…

While I believe I’ll have considerable trouble convincing my husband to move to Nicaragua, I’m almost certain it will be easier and possible to convince his boss the company needs to open a branch in Nicaragua.

My spouse has no intention of retiring, after all he is one of those that lives to work vs. working to live.

Hmmmmmmmmm...

I’ll keep ya’ll posted…

Now know this, my heart is not set on just Nicaragua. Actually any place affordable that is not HERE will do. I am thinking Nicaragua purely from a financial perspective.

Please, if you know of someplace else I should consider... don't hesitate to suggest it...
