*sigh* Rejected, dejected

Dan Lazar sent back a very nice form letter rejection, then added a note in his own handwriting. All was very polite and a "let 'em down easy" type rejection, but the novel I sent him didn't have enough "magic." Knew I should have sent him Midnight Hours, but I gave that novel to the other agent. She probably won't like it, and I should have given her Stolen. If I hear back from her that she doesn't like Midnight, I'll send it to Dan and send Stolen to her.

*sigh* I guess I'm not really dejected, exactly. Disappointed, yes, but I'll bounce back. That's what all that padding is that's attached to me - lets me bounce around. But a rejection is still a rejection. *files pretty, kind, and sad letter in file with others*
