they club-mixed and gogoed the "dora the explorer" theme song. FINALLY. i don't know why someone didn't think of this sooner! it is seriously the catchiest thing ever.

unrelated: when we walked in together this morning, the security guard who signed me in immediately asked whether my mom and i were sisters. the irony is, not looking like my mom has always been one of my biggest regrets, because my mom is gorgeous. i have my dad's coloring, my dad's strange hair, my dad's big nose, my dad's thin lips and my dad's freckles in the summertime. just thinking about my reflection makes me go uchhhh. increasingly, though, strangers are mistaking me and my mom for two people who look alike, which is pleasing.
