marcus is down in the polls, currently, which from what i can tell is mostly because the other guy has a harder slogan. i have told marcus his was lame, and been ignored because he's stuck on its irresistible punniness, and if only this meant he might listen to me next time. if only.

he and i haven't discussed the current polling results, but the last time we did talk about campaign stuff, he sort of told me that he's the frontrunner, right now, which i don't understand because, if he's losing, he must be anxious about it, and why can't he just say that?

as far as i'm concerned, his masculinity is in no way contingent on his winning some arbitrary office that will definitely wreck his entire summer and senior year. so. whatever.
