Boring And Self Absorbed

I just took a survey on writing.com about blogs. One of the questions concerned my pet peeve about blogs. I said mine was boring and self absorbed blogs. Now I am wondering about my blog. I hope my writing isn’t boring and self absorbed. I know that I write things about what is happening to me and my beliefs. I also write about ideas for stories, poems and other subjects.

Anyway I got to wondering about my own blog, whether it was boring and self absorbed or not. I know there are subject I don’t write about. Sometimes they are subjects that are just way too personal to get into or that I would rather not face at all. Other things I don’t write about are erotica and politics. Don’t get me wrong I vote but I don’t get involved with parties. I am registered non-partisan. The political parties are way too dissatisfying for me.

I know that a few of my entries are boring, or at least read that way to me when I review them. I’m still not sure about the self absorption aspect, but I guess I’m going to have to review all the entries to figure that one out. I know my writing has changed a great deal since I begin my blogs. Yes, I said blogs - at last count I have four. OK maybe I’m becoming addicted to blogging. I guess there are a lot worse things I could be addicted to (the to on the end of that sentence doesn’t sound right, I thing I’m leaving something dangling again).
