A little something about nothing

A couple weeks ago my brother had gone to the doctor's. While there they took blood, which came back with elevated live enzymes. They had him come in to take more blood and did an ultra sound on his liver.

They found something on his liver, which they believe is due to a fatty liver, but sent him to the hospital for additional tests. They had him drink that chalky stuff and get injected with dye to take the ride in the tube...his words.

He just emailed me to let me know the results are in but they won't give them to him over the phone. He has an appointment today at 4pm. It makes me nervous that they won't tell him over the phone...that means the results are positive for something.

I know a fatty liver runs in the family and that is what I am truly hoping and praying it is...although I am not certain what it means, but it doesn't sound overly serious.

Needless to say, this is going to be the LONGEST day I have had to face in a real long time!!!!
