evening, 42 degrees. 43 in London, UK.

Finished my raid of Dreams' port. Wanted to do 20. Only did 15 and that was accomplished with a flurry of reviews today, the last day.

Just exhausted in general. Got to say hello to my cousin Judith in San Francisco, left a message for Carol in Jamestown New York and couldn't get ahold of Aunt Dot in Fayetteville, NC. But I will, or she'll hunt me down!

afternoon, 46 degrees. 33 in Missoula, MT.

Tomorrow will apparently be the last day of flowers. Which is quite late, actually. If it is sunny and 50s for Thanksgiving I'll be happy.

Aimée's microwave bit the dust, so I told Cary we should write an ode to a dead microwave. The RIP note said "The top microwave, a sparkling burninator til the end."

Guitar Dave decided that we-all needed a new word: "drizmal" from dismal+dreary. I told him it sounded like it had "drizzle" in their too. This morning was truly a drizmally day.

Reading old postcards from early 1900s. Earliest posmark I found was 1905. Some have RPO on them which I assume means they were posted on the train. This makes sense as the trains carried the mail.
