A SICK AND MAD WORLD
A SICK AND MAD WORLD

[The deeds of man are worse than those of the mad and the mentally sick.]

It’s a sick world in which man
Kills another indeed;
Not for hunger but for his
Just insatiable greed.

It’s a mad world where young men
Strap bombs to their body,
So that they become famous
In a manner shoddy.

It’s a stinking world where men
Are tied to seats in plane,
Discharging in plastic bags,
In shame and mental pain.

It’s a shameless world in which
Female army recruits
View naked prisoners on leash
And kick them with their boots.

• Written in abcb 7-6-7-6 format

• Prisoners were taken by US from Afghanistan to Guantanamo, plastered to their seats as described, over the full journey period, lasting 24 hours or more.

• The sadistic exploits of Miss England, a US army recruit, are too well known to need details. They were all carried out with knowledge and sanction of the highest US defence authorities concerned.
