Over 200 gall stones
My very good friend Jacque Graham drove down from Blackwell so that I wouldn't be alone while Robert was in surgery. I was told he would be in for thirty minutes to an hour. When two hours passed, I was soooo glad I wasn't by myself.

The surgeon came out to talk to me, saying he was sorry it took so long. Then he sort of laughed and told me, "He had over 200 stones, and they spilled. We had to be sure that we got every single stone." In other words, Robert's gall bladder was more than filled with stones. No wonder he was so miserable some times, sick at his stomach, etc.

I'd like to sleep for a month, but I have to be back at the hospital in the morning. Robert was kept overnight so that they could monitor his heart. Tomorrow he goes back to the specialty hospital if all goes well tonight.

God was good.
