Robert's surgery is today
I'm getting ready to leave for the hospital. Robert's gall bladder will be removed today and a hernia repaired. The surgery itself isn't as major as once upon a time, but the anethesia and his heart could be. However, God kept him safe through the surgery on his foot, so I'm counting on Him doing the same this time.
Robert will be transported from the specialty hospital to Edmond Regional Hospital this morning, and I'll meet him at the regular hospital. The surgeon is planning on keeping him overnight.
Today will be a long day, but Robert says that it won't for him: He'll be sleeping through quite a bit of it. Hmmmm . . . funny man.
I'm taking a book with me, because I'll sit and wait, wich drives me up a wall.
Guess I'd better shut my computer down and leave. I need to be at the hospital by eight. Ugh, too early.
Oh, well, guess I should quit complaining, too. Everything is in God's hands. I'm just along for the ride, and, wow, what a ride it's been.
