this is like trying to wash out a bad taste. i want to take it all back, or replace it with something even slightly less bitchy.

i'd write a novel, if i had a novel to write. i've thought i did, at times, and in fact i sort of think i do now; the problem is, when i actually set pen to paper and start planning the damn things out, i find that the planning is remarkably easy not because i'm just that innovative of a writer, but because they are regurgitations of novels i've read and loved, already. that's minorly discouraging.

i will next year, though.
