My Grandfather's Halloween Story
When my grandfather was growing up people drove horse and buggies. One story he told about a Halloween prank was about putting a neighbors buggy on top of their house on Halloween. I don't remember what he said about how they got the buggy on top of the farm house. What I do remember is the mental picture I got of the buggy on top of the house. I also got a mental picture of the farmer's reaction at finding his buggy on top of his house. I'll have to see what else I remember. My grandfather told a lot of stories to us about the things he and his brothers did when they were growing up.
