The ups and downs of being single in your 30's...early 30's that is. |
My weekend was so busy I didn't really put much focus on the fact I had not heard from Will...the guy from Kmart. Not to mention I told him I'd call him, which I hadn't yet. So on Sunday as I was on my way to my mom's I called him. I woke him up from a nap, so he had that sexy raspy kinda voice...damn him!! Apparently when he added my number to his phone he closed it before hitting done, which erases your entry. I found out a little more about him. He works in steel plant 6 days a week, lives in Eastpointe with his family...said he is in transition, don't have details YET, likes to play pool, go bowling and listen to Jazz. I did tell him about having a male roommate. He was a little freaked out in the beginning, but I told him there was and has never been anything going on. He asked what was wrong with the guy? I had to laugh and told him that is a very common question and people have given many different opinions. He said the guy must be gay if he is able to see me every day and never make any moves. Oh Lord, if he only knew. We talked about 20 minutes and I let him go. He said he really wants to see me and was bummed I would be working at my 2nd job all week. I told him I was off by 10pm and that he could call if he was still up. Last night he called around 10:20pm. I was just walking out of the bathroom and was heading to bed. Needless to say, I didn't answer it. I know that is bad, but I was too tired and it would have not been a good conversation. I figured I would call him tonight. Besides, can't let him think I am THAT easy, right?! |
