:: A New PullDown Menu: Writing Resources ::
For easier site navigation, we've moved our Writing Resource pages to a pulldown
menu of their own. This section now has more room to expand and provide more
resources. Resources "On Writing.Com" have also been added to the bottom of
the menu, making it easily accessible from one place.


:: The Google / Amazon Search ::
We've improved the convenient Google search area to allow everyone quick
access to search Amazon.Com. Please remember that each time you shop at
Amazon through this box, a small percentage of your purchase goes to support
the Writing.Com community.

Even if you're not searching for something specific, just a click of the Amazon
button will take you right there. So, if you're going shopping on Amazon.Com,
remember to always come back here to start!


:: My Edit Points & Daily Notifications ::
Working with Edit Points is now much easier thanks to the new My Edit Points
page and Daily Notifcation emails. The "My Edit Points" page shows you a list of
your items using Edit Points and provides a history of the most recent Edit Point
additions or changes within your items. The new Daily Notification email provides
a summary of the day's Edit Point activity for each of your items.

The My Edit Points page is available from your Author Tools pulldown menu
and is available to all Writing.Com members.


:: Virtual Dice - a Random Number Generator ::
Random numbers play a part in many forms of writing. From the complexities of
role play game writing to the simple choice of a year to start your story, numbers
are an important writing tool. By bringing random numbers online, we can expand
our Virtual Dice to an unlimited amount of possibilities.

For those running contests or games that require random numbers, you store the
results to your Item's ID and allow anyone to view the random results for themselves.
This provides a transparent system that is trustworthy for all.

The Virtual Dice are available from the bottom of your Author Tools pulldown
menu and are provided for use by all Writing.Com members and visitors.
