A little something about nothing

The date is set

It is official, they have scheduled my grandpa's surgery for this Thursday at 1:30 p.m. I guess this is good and bad news. Good news because he truly needs the surgery and good news because all the doctors have given the go ahead. Bad news because he is not in the best health plus his age, which makes this a very high risk surgery.

I am trying to remain positive, but won't deny I am very nervous. Makes me even more nervous knowing that my dad is nervous. He is always the strong one and can handle nearly all situations, but with everything that has been going on with my grandpa I occassionally see his vulnerable side. This makes me want to be stronger for him so he can for once rely on someone instead of always being the rock for everyone.

So, for any of you who read this, please take an extra minute and send a little prayer for my grandpa...I would greatly appreciate it!
