A little something about nothing

We got results back on my grandpa whose gone through nearly two weeks of testing. They have discovered another spot of cancer on his bladder and also found a cyst on his kidney. Although it isn't the best of news, it is good to hear they FINALLY found some explanation for his condition.

The doctor feels they are both operatable and he is making the suggestion to have them both done at the same time. Now they need his heart doctor (he had open heart surgery 10 or so years ago) to sign off on the procedure.

At this point I am not sure what to think. He is so frail right now that I am not certain he can withstand another surgery; however, without it I am not cetain how much more his body can take.

I just pray that if the surgery does get scheduled he goes in with a fighting attitude and not the current one he's had where he tells everyone he sees that he has given up.
