The ups and downs of being single in your 30's...early 30's that is.

Giving a chance
After thinking about it and getting input from family & friends, who typically know me better than myself, I decided to reply to the stranger's email...Steve by the way.

I kept it simple and asked many questions about the different jobs he has...4 in total. I did comment about the religion statements he had made. I was upfront and let him know that although I have a personal relationship with God I am currently not actively attending church. I figure if I am upfront with him then it is his choice if he can accept it or not...no secrets or games!!

I also feel a little better after one comment I received about his picture. He has thick, black, curly hair but it is growing a tad longer in the back where it almost looks like a mullet. Someone pointed out that he is probably growing it out while he works at the Renaissance Festival...makes sense!! *Smile* No, I am not that shallow to not date someone because of their hair style; however, if I had my way we would make a date involving a barber! *Bigsmile*
