SURRENDER

[Only in surrender to Him does He bestow grace]


When in heart there is no hope;
Of success, there is no scope;
When days are dark as a night;
Chances of failure are bright;

When lost in the blazing sand,
There is not a helping hand;
Lips are parched and limbs are weak;
Of luck, there is not a streak;

It’s then that we look to Him,
Whose cup is full up to brim
With the milk of compassion.
Kind is His every action.

When we give up all reserve
And surrender but to serve
Him in whate’er way he wants,
Then His grace, truly, he grants.
