BROKEN LOVE

[Love means mutual respect, not subjugation]


Why should in love you give me blame?
In name of love why want to tame?
Love is not a one sided game.
Oh what a shame! Oh what a shame!

In love one must have some patience.
Without it love is a nuisance.
You denied me independence.
Give up pretence. Give up pretence.

Love means that we must give and take.
Love, though sweet, is not all a cake.
In love one has one’s heart at stake.
Love can’t be fake. Love can’t be fake.

I have no ill will against you,
Though in love just a blank I drew.
I wish you have a future new.
My love was true. My love was true.
