IF I WERE THE VOICE OF REASON


[There is only one and the same god for the whole mankind. Why fight in His name(s)?]



If I were the voice of reason,
I would ring a bell
In the mind of all the men and
Subtly to them tell:

Why think of god as belonging
To a certain group?
Why for a single religion
Should all the men troop?

Why should Lord save only those who
Believe in Jesus?
Why to hell should all be condemned
Who do not think thus?


Non-worshippers of Allah, as
Ordained by Mohammad;
Why should those “unbelievers” be
As enemies dubbed?

Why not have a god who is, to
Mode of worship, blind?
Who does not save His kith and kin,
But the whole mankind?
