Where's the Silver Lining?

I finally took the time to post some of the pictures I took in Colorado. The nine I loaded are in

but the one of Robert I want to post here. I didn't take any pictures of him when he looked like the survivor of a concentration camp, but I can't believe how he's put on weight in the past six months. He still looks many years older than he is, but at least he appears alive.

Robert is sixty-six, but most people think he's at least eighty. He has the heart and ideas of a young man, though.

After church this morning, as I was leaving, Randy, Janelle, Ryan, and Shane stood at the back of the church, a pleasant surprise. They had come in town yesterday to work on their new house and stayed the night. (Colby had stayed with their grandma and grandpa.) They slipped in the back of the church because they were a bit late. Seeing them there thrilled me. Hopefully they will attend there when they actually move.

Ah, more glimpses of that silver lining.
