Of the various messages
Given throughout the ages,

Message of love above all
Is the one we must recall.

Don’t forget for a moment
The one message He has sent.

"Love thou everyone around,
Give to all thy love unbound.

Love thy neighbor, love thy friend,
Love a stranger, none offend.

Enemy,too,love thy own,
As Jesus himself has shown. "

But, alas! The real life
Is full of quarrel and strife.

Behind doors, away from sight,
Spouses have a daily fight.

Faith and friendship are no more.
Only silver has the lure.

Love can't be where money is.
Who has not heard saying this:

"Though with ease may a camel,
Pass through eye of a needle;

Yet a rich man cannot barge
Through the gates of heaven large."

He made silver, He made man.
He made Love, only He can

Solve this mystery eternal:
Why we lack love fraternal.
