Hoo, boy
The hospice nurse was here today to check Robert (the nurse comes three times a week, and an aide comes twice a week). She always listens to his lungs, which are greatly diminished and at times filled with gurgling and crackling.

She asked to listen to mind after listening to his, which were quiet but one was more diminished than usual. She listened, then listened again. Finally she said, "Yours are worse than his. You have greatly diminished workings and wheezing and cracklings."

Robert sort of laughed and said, "I could have told you she breathes worse than me."

All I know is I miss being able to breathe.

My lungs are worse than many people's who smoke, and I've never voluntarily smoked a puff in my life. Ish.
