Minnie

I talked to Jean's mom today. Short, as she prefers it. She got my card and letter. She said the card made her cry, and she couldn't read the letter until the end of the day because of it.

She said that as far as she was concerned, Jean had the best man she could have had. She said she knew I did 110 percent to support her, and she said that she knew I made Jean happy. She said she wasn't going to say it again. That's as close to emotional as she gets.

So that made me... feel something positive.

I did cry later, I'm not sure why. It was building I guess. It was just out of nowhere. But it felt better when I was done, as it usually does.

Now, it's time for bed, and I'm not able to get over the edge into sleep. So it's back to doing whatever, mostly listening to music.

I miss Jean. I miss her.
