Introducing Audio Items and a Poll Upgrade

Writing.Com is pleased to introduce a Poll Item enhancement and a brand
new item type:
         Audio Items

:: Introducing: Audio Items ::
With our new Audio item, members* can upload Audio Files directly into
their Writing.Com portfolios! Audio items are perfect for turning your work
into an audio book, storing an actual poetry reading or adding effective sounds
or background music to your writing. We're excited to see the other creative
ways members find to use this new item type!

When left rateable, Audio items can be rated and reviewed, providing you
with feedback from readers and fellow writers. Like other items, they have
E thru XGC content ratings, can utilize access restrictions and PassKeys,
and much more!

As each Audio item is uploaded to Writing.Com's server, it is scanned for
viruses. The server's virus scanner checks for updated virus definitions every
hour to ensure the most protection available.

Audio items have their own WritingML tag for use in most places WritingML
can be used. For example, {audio:933413}
