Where's the Silver Lining?

One step forward, two back

This walk called life causes more confusion than revelations.

Today started fairly well, with Robert feeling tired, as usual, but overall better than during the weekend. Then he started the downhill slide again. He started having chest pains, feeling cold, his left side going numb. Looks like another sleepless and scary night in front of us.

What is the most frustrating for me is he looks to me for help, and I can't do anything. If I call hospice, they just send a nurse to take his vital signs, no help there really. Whew, frightening.

So no stories tonight, just a brief update, if this short message can be called that.
