Challenge FIVE
Fifth Challenge: September 14: *Challenge is to create a poem using subtle alliteration*
A poem I wote a while back, I decided to go ahead and use it since I'm pretty happy with it- and because I found the alliteration techinique already in it! It's subtle, but it's there!
Remember?
Safely settled, locked away,
Tucked in hidden corners,
Tiny fragments,
Ittybitty pieces,
Of thoughts,
Of memories,
Of visions,
Of dreams,
Of phrases,
Of desires,
Of coments.
Brought to the surface
Only by the small clicks,
When a
Sound is heard.
A touch is felt.
An image, protrays.
A feeling, inspired.
Broken sentances,
Jumbled thoughts,
Mixed feelings,
Never an order
Never a pattern.
If eyes are said
To show so much
What then,
Lies beaneath the
Outermost surface?
Even at rest
When peace ensues
And harmony surrounds
The thoughts are there
Never thought of
Until something draws it
To the very surface
With the tiniest
click!
As time passes
The fragments fade
And images ebb away
Like the tides,
Farther and farther
Under other thoughts
Crowding the space,
Down to the very core.
And sometimes
It takes more than just
The click
To remember.
