Well it may be far from perfect...and despite some recent major upheavals...I'm very thankful and at peace with life at the moment. I know storm clouds are coming but God willing, I'll bounce back and dust myself off regardless. I had to look up upheaval just now because I'm such a terrible speller. (I don't blame my inattentive schoolyears but all the piddily English grammar rules out there) Upheaval...where the Hell did that word come from? What was a heaval to begin with? Were there good heavals and bad heavals? An upheaval generally isn't a good heaval right, so why call it an upheaval? Why not a downheaval? I can picture a group of my ancestors sitting around in early Briton one day, thinking up new words...and one bright git suggesting heaval as a jolly good sounding word he'd like to pass on to future English speaking generations. I'll leave it to veedoubleu and her lot to redefine heaval as only the Aussies can. This all sounds like something out of a Monty Python skit. Speaking of totally silly stuff...tiredartist has generously (and courageously), accepted the challenge of adding to the Deep Onion interactive story.
Awwwwww bless her. Don't let her handle fool ya. I find her to be a very joyful and playful spirit. Check her out. Before I scoot off, I'd like to send my prayers and thoughts to all my southern neighbours who's lives have been downheavaled with one hurricane after another lately. We got hit last year but luckily I was 100 Ks away from the really nasty stuff. I hope you're lucky enough to be 100 clicks away too. God bless you all.
