Walking With Him

I went for a walk with Jesus today. I took my Bible and went for a walk along the river. I stopped and sat on a log to read from the word. I opened the scriptures to the gospel of Luke. God spoke directly to me amid the sounds of singing birds, green grass and trees. The warmth of the sun on my skin and the soft breeze in the air was refreshing. Like the words of the old songwriter "He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own." It is awesome. We have walked together for over 30 years now and it only gets sweeter day by day. Every day He opens to me new revelations of His goodness and love.
