Dear Rhett,

By the time I realised that I loved you
It was too late
All your sarcasm, humour and laughter
Turned into hate

You couldn't wait a day longer
You were desperate to leave me
Sadly, it took your absence
To realise you meant the world to me

Now you're gone
And I don't know where
I cant stop thinking of the way you looked as you left
You gave me such a hateful stare

Nothing I say or do
Can turn back time
Back to the days
When you were mine

I treated you badly
That much is true
But you have to know
I'll always love you
